Better Bodies In Training

Bootcamp

Boot camp (Group Training)

We define "boot camp" as any short (4-6 weeks ), course of group training or workout that is conducted outside and which is geared to work the entire body while covering all elements of an optimal fitness program.  Unlike the typical boot camp, our camps are 6 weeks (45 days) in duration. This is because our experience and research have shown that 45 days is the "magic number" for effecting behavioral changes and seeing significant results that can be lasting and sustainable.  This training is broken down into two core parts: circuit trainings days and a cardio day.

Circuit Training Days!

During the circuit training days we perform resistance exercises, cardio and flexibility exercises.  This would include body weight exercises (i.e., push ups, squats, lunges, sit ups), we also incorporate the use of resistance bands and dumbbells for added resistance. In addition, we perform, plyometrics exercises,  and kickboxing movement/drills, just to name a few. Our resistant training methodology is simple, we use:

  1. full body training strategies

  2. circuit training strategies;

  3. and short 30-60 seconds exercise drills with little rest between drills.

Of course, all exercises are modified to accommodate those who are advance and those who are beginners. So, at  whatever level you join, you can ensure that your body, mind and willpower will be challenged and pushed just a little each time you come to workout.

Cardio Days!

On the cardio days, we tackle local trails.  Our research and experience have shown that trail walking and running is far superior to flat surface running; in addition, trail walking and running tends to stress the body more resulting in superior cardic gains.  Like our circuit training days, we begin with a basic warm-up (joint manipulations and dynamic stretching) to warm up the body and mobilize the joints in order to mitigate the likelihood of injury. After the core part of the workout, we end with a cool down segment focusing on static stretching.

Training Times:

We train during:

  • the Cold Season: Monday, Wednes, Friday from 5:30 AM- 6:30 AM, and on Sat from 6:00 AM -7:00 AM

  • the Warm Season: Mon-Sat at both 5:30 AM-6:30 AM and 6:00 PM-7:00PM

Initial Assessment!

Like our 1-on-1 personal training offer, you will:

  1. undergo a heath history analysis,

  2. establish clear fitness goals,

  3. and undergo a fitness assessment where you will get an ideal of what your % of body fat, RHR (resting heart rate).

From there, a basic fitness plan understanding in combination with a basic nutritional plan will be developed with clear goals, objectives and a timeline for their attainment. Finally, a system of checks and balances will be put in place to ensure a high level of personal accountability on both your part and our part.
